Cut Loose at the Theatre Starting Next Weekend

The classic high octane movie and beloved theatrical release “Footloose: The Musical” is coming to Harrison School for the Arts for a two-weekend stint starting next weekend thanks to With Love Productions.

In the organization’s 27th full-length production fans will enjoy the rockin' rhythm of its Oscar and  Tony-nominated Top 40 score, augmented with dynamic new songs to create a high energy show that celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.

Director Alessandra Stillinger said it is a very physically demanding show where plenty of singing and dancing is done in tandem, but the immensely talented staff is up for the challenge.

"This is some of the best choreography I've seen for like, community theater. It is some insane stuff,” she says, referencing the work of Daniel Z. Smith, Jr. “The choreography is what brings this show to the next level"

Check back soon for more information on the cast, the show and some preview pics from rehearsals.
