Letters To Santa

Santa’s elves are teaming up with Lakeside Village this year to make sure Santa receives every wish list.

Believing in Santa is an integral part of the lens upon which children view Christmas while growing up. When you’re young, the line between reality and imagination is so blurry, anything is possible. It’s that spark of fantasy and joy in a child’s eye that makes being a kid at Christmas time so special. And being able to see that spark in a child’s eye through the lens of adulthood brings a whole new perspective on the importance of Christmas and the importance of believing without seeing.

This year, you can help keep that imagination alive in your child’s life by writing and dropping off a letter to Santa at Lakeside Village. From now until Monday, December 20th, you can write a letter to Santa and drop it off at the mailbox in the fountain at Lakeside Village. Go ahead, tell Santa everything that’s on your mind and everything you want for Christmas, but don’t forget to include a return address so Santa can write you back!

The truth is; eventually, children grow up and become adults. They develop curiosity paired with critical thinking skills and stop believing in Santa. But the lessons we learn during our youth- when we most believed in a jolly, magical man who visited every home in the world in only one night- are evergreen.
