Buying Peace of Mind
Bryce Grants inspects a house as if his own family were going to call it home, and that’s not just a sentiment, but a promise that he guarantees each customer.
Every inspection includes a 90-day warranty and a buy-back guarantee, the same type of customer service his father, Kevin, built the legacy of Residential Inspection Consultants on since day one when he founded it more than 30 years ago.
The company offers home inspections, thermal imaging, mold and air quality testing, all with same-day digital reports. To Bryce, though, it’s about more than data points and valuable reports.
“After years of watching my father’s dedication to integrity and service, I stepped in to carry that vision forward,” he says. “My ‘why’ is simple—continue that mission, protect families and offer clarity during one of the biggest investments they’ll ever make.”
The lifelong Lakelander and LCS grad said one of the biggest misconceptions about home inspectors is they are there to simply “pass” or “fail” a house, when in reality their job is to educate people through a professional, unbiased evaluation.
A residential inspection includes a thorough examination of structural systems, roofing, electrical systems, plumbing, heating and cooling systems and appliances.
Bryce says his staff—which includes his brother Chase, the company's lead inspector—always makes the time to walk through its findings, answer questions and ensure each client feels informed, rather than overwhelmed.
Residential Inspection Consultants prioritizes relationships with local realtors by providing end-to-end services that allow agents to seamlessly serve their clients. In addition to home inspections, the company offers wind mitigation inspections, roof inspections, 4-point inspections and thermal imaging.
“This is home. I grew up here, built a life here, and now I get to help others do the same,” Bryce says. “There’s something deeply rewarding about guiding people through one of the most important moments in their life—buying a home.”
Bryce gets the importance of having a safe, comfortable space to live, especially at this stage of life with two young children and a wedding on the way in July.
