Powering Homes by Empowering Professionals
Jason Fortson’s journey in the electrical trade began in 1996 with Arnett Electric, igniting a spark that would eventually lead him to found All Voltage Electrical Contracting (Aveco Electrical, Inc.) in 2008.
Building the company wasn’t just about meeting the increased demand for high quality electrical work throughout Florida, it was about creating an environment where skilled tradespeople have established paths to build a lasting career with comprehensive benefits that allow them to provide for their families. That approach includes a robust apprenticeship program—much like the one that shaped Fortson’s career.
“Our team, bolstered by a four-year apprenticeship program through the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC), includes skilled professionals like Master and Journeyman Electricians who ensure safety and excellence in every project,” says Fortson, who was born at Lakeland Regional Health and attended Lakeland and Mulberry High Schools.
Aveco, which has a near perfect customer rating with almost 100 Google reviews, offers a wide range of services, including: residential, commercial, and industrial construction, as well as specialized offerings like home automation, security, networking, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) installations.
“I’m passionate about providing reliable electrical services, from home service calls to large scale commercial/industrial projects, that enhance the safety and functionality of homes and businesses,” Forston says.
What sets Aveco apart from competitors is its dedication to safety and employee development. The company boasts an extensive safety training program, including monthly meetings and a safe driving award program that incentivizes employees with bonuses.
“This combination of skilled professionals, safety focus, and a broad service range makes us a trusted and valuable partner across Central Florida,” Fortson asserts.
Aveco serves a broad swath of Florida from Orlando to St. Petersburg, extending south to Sebring and Fort Myers, and Fortson and his team are always looking to expand their customer base by helping aspiring new employees achieve their goals.
Fortson’s preferred methods of “powering down” so to speak, include hunting Waterfowl with his black lab Rip and shooting sporting clays around the area.
