Keeping Lakeland Cool
Since 1984
Just like Goldilocks in the iconic children’s tale, Acu-Temp Heating and Cooling is making sure its customers are never too hot or too cold, and their home is always “just right.”
In 1984, Jim Gengler took the intel and experience gained from working for Sears Home Services and started his own local air conditioning business. Forty one years later, at a company led by his wife, Debbie, and their two sons, Aaron and Justin, Acu-Temp professionals are still installing, maintaining and repairing heating and cooling systems with a level of expertise that has earned the business near perfect Google Reviews.
Acu-Temp provides its services for residential and commercial customers and offers everything from traditional units of a variety of sizes to ductless mini split or single zone heating and cooling systems that are perfect for business rooms, garages or Florida rooms.
They also have a Comfort Care Maintenance program that keeps systems performing optimally throughout the year through preventive annual maintenance. Routine check-ups are performed and Acu-Temp pros correct minor problems before they turn into larger, more expensive repairs.
Maintenance packages start at $150 and include a 15 percent discount on repairs as well as a 5-year warranty on parts replaced within the plan.
The heating and cooling industry demands quick resolution to people’s urgent needs, and one recent Google Review from customer Scott Murphy showcases how the Acu-Temp team is astute at doing just that.
“AccuTemp has literally restored my faith in business, people and overall humanity!! We had an issue and contacted Tracy with AccuTemp. She quickly looked into the issue and informed us the part was still covered under warranty,” Scott wrote. “She promptly ordered the part and when it arrived called us back to schedule the repair. They sent their technician, Matt, out who did a fantastic job making the necessary repairs in a timely manner displaying the utmost level of professionalism while openly communicating while the job was being done.”
