The 2025 Fall municipal elections for Lakeland and other Polk County municipalities will take place on Tuesday, November 4.
Early voting takes place Monday through Friday October 27-31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the
Polk County Government Center 930 E. Parker St.
Did You Know?
In the 2021 Mayoral Election, there were 106,443 registered votes and 21,448 turned out, equating to 20.15 percent of registered voters.
There are currently more than 434,000 registered voters in all of Polk County.
There are three charter amendments to be voted on in this election, including re-drawing city district boundaries based on population, a change to the number of years a commissioner and/or mayor can serve, and an amendment that involves several procedural changes to the way the city conducts business.
